CHICAGO GOOD DESIGN 2021

GOOD DESIGN® is the world’s oldest design award. It was founded by the Chicago Athenaeum, an International Museum of Architecture and Design, and the European Design Centre in 1950.

Several thousand designers and companies from 55 countries have participated in the competition in 2021. Only the best of the best projects received the award.


INFINITY AIR lighting and air conditioning system by CENTRSVET won in the BUILDING MATERIALS category. 
Auroom X Collection of brass luminaires by Dima Loginoff and Foton spot luminaire were awarded in the LIGHTING category.



Infinity

INFINITY AIR

Combines Centrsvet Infinity lighting system and slot diffusers that provide high quality air distribution parallel to the ceiling surface. One line for track luminaires and air distribution. The system looks like a fine line. No visible trim. It can be placed both on the ceiling and on the wall. Infinity Air system is suitable for push-pull ventilation, as well as for air conditioning.

AUROOM X DIMA LOGINOFF

Capsule collection by a world-renown Russian designer Dima Loginoff: "a little bit of irony and mischief". "Fun and playful shapes of the luminaires will conjure up different associations in different people, " – Dima says with a smile. "But this design will surely add a touch of intrigue to the interior". All brass elements are buffed to a matte finish by hand.

FOTON

Minimalistic and modern design. Clean basic shapes. Invisible transition between the fixture and the ceiling due to absence of visible trim. Unprecedented CENTRSVET optics is used instead of a conventional reflector, which directly influences the quality of light. A unique lens focuses the light beam making luminous flux as soft, even and eye-pleasing as possible.
